This series explores the building blocks and techniques of the Chancery alphabet, including the basic practice strokes and styles used by ancient kings and clergy alike.
Traced back to 13th century monks who used it as a business hand for official papers and church business, the Chancery alphabet spread to English and French governments, and became the gold standard of royal documentation for centuries afterward.
