Mother’s Day Paint & Pour:
“Elephants Never Forget”
May 13, 1-3:30 pm
The Pump House honors mothers and strong females across the world this Mother’s Day weekend, with a special Paint & Pour workshop, “Elephants Never Forget.” We have all heard the old saying, “Elephants never forget,” and while it may seen like an exaggeration, there’s more truth to the adage than you might realize: In the wild, an elephant’s memory is key to its survival—and its herd’s, and each herd has a matriarchal structure, with one older female in charge.
Bring a friend, a relative, or treat the strong matriarch in your family to wine, great conversation and music while a professional artist guides you step-by-step through a painting, specially-chosen for Mother’s Day weekend. We provide everything you need including paint brushes, paint, stretched and primed canvas, and your first glass of wine. At the end of the workshop, you will go home with your completed work. Additional beverages will be provided at the cash bar.
Instructed by Jacquelline Olson.
Cost is $35 per person. All materials and a first glass of wine are included.
