Exhibit: Nicolas Darcourt, “Filters and Signals”
Nicolas Darcourt's ceramic work combines multiple parts, pieces and fragments into sculptural forms. By creating an appearance of constant dismantling and reorganizing, structure and improvisation, his goal is to suspend perception and recognition.
Exhibit: Roger Boulay, “Filters & Signals”
Inspired by the New Horizons mission to Pluto, a source of hope, as it provides insights into the formation of the solar system. Dead Planets are rubbings from records, scanned and printed digitally.
Exhibit: Lois Peterson, “Filters and Signals”
Peterson's drawings pull one into a quiet spaciousness, both from within and outside. Prairie landscapes, Arctic expanses, flowing rivers, savannas and night skies all articulate spaces of the unknowable, each serving as a specific space to search for clues of the elusive.
Exhibit: Julia Scheckel, “The Woods are Lovely, Dark and Deep”
This collection of Julia's most recent prints highlights her connection to the natural world and how that correlates to her relationships.
Exhibit: Russ Nordman, “Iowa Combines”.
An exhibition of Archival Digital Collages gathered from documentation from trips across the artist's home state of Iowa.
