Description
Combine art and Spanish in one session. A simple piece will be painted with basic geometric figures and colors. Spanish vocabulary will be introduced at the beginning of the session and Spanish will be spoken during the session.
*You do not need to know Spanish to take this class.
This class will be in the style of our Paint & Pour classes. Beverages will be served and available for purchase during the session.
Basic geometric figures: circles, rectangles, squares, and triangles
Sizes: Chiquito (exceedingly small), chico (small), mediano (medium), grande (big/large), and grandote (very big/extra-large). Basic colors: red, blue, yellow, green, brown, violet, pink, white, and black.
During the session, Spanish will be spoken. Directions will be given in Spanish. Vocabulary will be introduced in the first 15 minutes. The artwork will be carried out simultaneously. All participants will perform the same piece. Participants will be able to modify their art-pieces if they want. Images will be placed around the room. Those will support the phrases and words that will be used in the session. Participants will be encouraged to practice phrases and vocabulary. At the end of the session, participants will present their pieces in Spanish.
