Prompted by Art: A Hammer Gams Inspired Writers Workshop
Tuesday, June 28 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm
$25/person
Supplies will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own writing tools.
At the intersection of artist and viewer a whole “other thing” is created, whether we are aware of it or not. Writing helps to capture and expand upon that creation in ways that are revealing, profound and oftentimes just plain old fun.
Hammer Gams Photography, by Cathy Dodge Williams, explores the social conundrum of wanting to be seen while also wanting to remain anonymous. Her evocative images will be the prompts for a writing workshop led by Deb Biechler. Cathy Williams will also be present at the workshop.
Deb Biechler is a freelance writer and educator. Her columns, articles and stories have appeared in state and national Both she and Cathy Dodge Williams reside in Necedah, WI.
This writing workshop takes place during Cathy Williams exhibition at the Pump House which runs from May 25-July 16, 2022
