Call to Instructors – Class & Workshop Proposal Form

Pump House Regional Arts Center is seeking professional artists and arts instructors to submit workshop proposals throughout the year. Workshop proposals must be unique and creative, and may include art of any media including visual arts, performing arts, literary arts and more. About Pump House Workshops Pump House workshops engage and connect people of all ages and skill levels through education and meaningful arts experiences. The Pump House facility includes four potential creative workshop spaces: the Kader Gallery, the Dayton Theater, the Art Studio and the Conference Room.

Proposal Criteria and Requirements

  • Proposals must be creative, unique and engaging.
  • Instructors must have a professional background as an artist or arts educator, higher education in the arts, or commensurate experience.
  • Complete and submit the Workshop Proposal form below.

  • Note to consider: Pump House requires at least 2 months of proper marketing exposure, please align your date suggestions with that timeline.
  • Age range, ability limits, experience needed?, etc.
  • Instructor will provide all materials needed for class. Cost per student should include an amount to cover materials as well as the instructors requested wage Pump House will be adding and additonal $20 per student to cover our admin fees. (ex. $75 your cost + $20 PH cost = $95 total per student)
  • Pump House Provides: Tables, chairs, option of electrical outlets, studio or gallery location depending on size and topic of class and point of sale. If there are any specific needs requested, please specify. (ex. if students wish to/are expected to bring anything such as notebook, own tools, etc.)
