VOLUNTEER
In order to better promote our events and serve our community, Pump House is seeking volunteers to help us in our mission to promote the arts in the La Crosse area. There is a wide variety of volunteer positions that are available for volunteers of all interests and abilities. These volunteer tasks may be redeemed for college credit, extra credit, community service and more. In order to sign up, please visit our Ugetconnected page by following the link below. Ushers
Volunteer Ushers are needed for most Pump House events. Usher tasks include but are not limited to:
- Greet attendees (sometimes with a specific promt)
- Take tickets at theater door
- hand out programs if applicable
- Control house lights at start of show, at intermission & at end of evening
- Guide attendees to reserved seat if needed
- Assist handicapped attendees if needed
House staff will give instructions for specific evening, call time is 15 min before doors open. Doors open 1 hour prior to performances.
Volunteers will recieve free admittance to the performance.

Bartender
Volunteer Bartenders are needed for most Pump House events. Bartenders serve 1 hour before performances and during intermission if applicable.
Some experience preferred. Will train. Attendance can be 50-130+ people per event. House staff will give instructions for specific evening, call time is 15 min before doors open. Doors open 1 hour prior to performances.
Volunteers will recieve free admittance to the performance.
